St Thomas is an extremely beautiful tropical paradise. We took the sky-ride to Paradise Point and enjoyed the scenery along with a Bushwacker (the local specialty drink of St. Thomas). We took some great pictures. Next we took a taxi to Meghan Bay for about $8/person. Its on the other side of the island so its about a 15 minute ride. The beach was absolutely gorgeous. The tropical surroundings and even the smell reminded you that this was paradise.
We took a city tour for $20/person and learned a good deal about Old San Juan and new San Juan. We didn't visit any beaches because they were rocky, but we've heard you can find beautiful beaches on the other side of the island. The shopping here is great, with many shops within walking distance.
Grand Turk was devastated by Hurricane Ike, and you could still see the damages it left over. We learned a good amount on our Horseback-riding tour/excursion. The people struggle to live but the crime rate here is very small. They don't have a large jail to hold prisoners so they usually deport them elsewhere. Riding the horses and land and sea was a blast for my family. The guides took pictures and were very helpful.
