Interesting island but beach (Tabyana) was not great. the walk was far and the water had a lot of seaweed and rocks. Also did the Dolphin encounter on Roatan. Definately worth the money. an amazing experience, the trainers were very knowledgable, and the dolphins were beautiful. Wouldn't go back to this island though.
It is too humid, the shopping not great and the tender ride very long. Where you get off the tender boat it is PACKED with annoying locals trying to sell you excusions. We couldn't get past them. Too many jewelry stores where the prices were just as high as in New York so no great bargains there. Been here before but wouldn't go back again either.
cozumel is one of my favorite places in the caribbean. the people are so friendly, the shopping is great and the beaches are amazing. Went to Playa Mya beach for the second time and it was even better than the first time. Would highly reccomend it for families. there is something for everyone there. went parasailing here and it was fabulous.
