Rained all day - we were wet from the time we left the boat until the time we came back - but very enjoyable day despite that!

Booked with bumpingtours.com. One of the best tours we had on our trip. Very informative guide who knew so much about the local land, plants and animals. Visited the gorge and falls, but couldn't climb up to middleton falls or swim in the gorge due to the huge swollen rivers - too dangerous to cross and swim with the heavy rain. I felt like we got to see a huge cross-section of the island, even snorkled in champagne reef. I would highly recommend this tour.

We are not shoppers but bought a couple little things in the shops on the way back to the boat. My advise - get off the boat and out of the town and see what a real rainforest is like!!! You won't be sorry.

As everyone will tell you, you HAVE to book a tour through COSOL (cosol-tours.com). We had the good fortune of having him as our guide and I can't add to the wonderful comments that other on cc have made. The only thing I would add is to be sure to go snorkling when it is time - wow, was it worth it. Cosol tells you to bring some bananas from the plantation so you can later feed them to the fish. Talk about wonderful! This was the best snorkling I've ever done and I've been a certified scuba diver for 25 years. Effortless with tons of fish and coral everywhere.

We only actually spent about an hour on Antigua, walking to our catamaran and back, doing some light shopping at the shops in port after our all-day trip.

We booked through adventureantigua.com and it was great. We went to some uninhabited islands. Lunch was good, not as good as the people we saw having a lobster BBQ, but the cold BBQ chicken and salad was yummy. Plus we went to devil's bridge, got to swim over, squeeze through a series of caves, climb to the top! I'm not sure the other tour operators do that. What a great experience (and better than lobster, which I can have anytime!) Snorkling was good and hiking on the island was even better. Would recommend booking with them.
