Northbound, DW did the whale tour. I did the 'Bike and Brew' excursion. We enjoyed both tours. Southbound, we did an 'adventure hike' around Mendenhall Glacier. We got our exercise for sure scaling those steep staircases.
We did the Best of Skagway tour. We were bused up to Frasier for Customs check, then boarded the White Pass train to Skagway. Sections of the trip was shrouded in fog, but it cleared up about midway through the ride. Lunch and a show was provided at Liarsville. Tour finished at the Red Onion Bar.
We took the Haines walking tour in the morning, then an "Adventure hike" in the afternoon. Quaint little town centered around the Fort Seward history. The hike was short, but it involved alot of unimproved trails which meant difficult footing at times, and plenty of stepping over tree roots.
