Do this city on your own. It is great to walk. Take the funicular lift ($2) up from Creek Street. Go to the Totem Heritage Center and Salmon hatchery. See my comments in the main body of our review.
Great excursions. But, it is a port that requires more time to fully appreciate. NCL should dedicate a full day to it, but should cut the effort to induce passengers to shop for jewelry. (Rumor has it that NCL has some sort of self-interest arrangement with the stores. True or not, passenegers should be wary).
Great little stopover! Great museum of British Columbia history and the Indian culture. No commercialism. Honest to goodness local residents willing to welcome you and tell you about what one resident calls "a town that has several times almost become something."
