Arrived on a Sunday with most shops shut and temperature in the 80's. Nice walk round castle and round harbour side. However the town had a distinct dead feeling to it.
Lovely walk from ship past unesco listed houses and castle. Easy to walk round. Took train up to viewing point on hill where there is a shop, snack bar, nice walks and a great view over Bergen. Lovely children's swing park and kids woodland walk with carved wooden trolls and sculptures. There is a well marked path to walk back down to Bergen.
