Aruba is one of my favorites places ever !!! In fact, it was the place that I held my Honeymoon 15 years ago. It's a beautiful port with wonderful people and organization. The tour that I choose this time was the "Kukoo Kunuku Palm Beach Tour" which takes you to 2 of the landmarks of Aruba and then to the beach.
As for the beach, it was not so good as others in the Palm Beach area. The sea floor was not firm but muddy and in some places I stepped into some sharp rocks, definitely not so pleasant to step on. Thank God that I was wearing water shoes !!!
I can not complain about the bus (it was very colorful and funny) and the driver did very good.
So, overall, the tour was good but I think that the beach part should be improved by taking the guests to a better one. Other than that, the day and the experience was perfect. Scored 5 and not 5+ for the muddy beach.

I took the "Fun Beach Express, Sightseeing & Snorkel" and it was awesome. The beach that we were taken was "Postal Perfect". Good facilities, crystal water and good snorkeling place.
The only complaint was the delay in the departure of the Tour. The ticket showed 9:45AM but we started with a 30 minutes delay at 10:15AM. The guide insisted that it was a Cruise's error. Who knows? We lost 30 minutes of precious time to spent on that beach or in the sightseeing of the island.
Overall, it was an excellent and pleasant expierence. I didn't gave a 5+ because of the delay...

"Beach and Waterfalls" was the tour I took. Dominica is a very undeveloped island. No much things to do or see overthere. In the tour, the waterfall part was the best of the tour but be advised that in order to reach it, you would be driven by narrow roads and many curves (I can still remember the young boy that was vomiting over the bus window).
Once you get to the waterfall place, you must hike for about 10 or 15 minutes to reach it. Not recommended for older people, or with any walking disability but if you don't have those problems, I recommed that you give it a shot. It's worthwile the effort. The waterfall is beautiful and you can even take a swim (WOOOOOOW!!!).
At the other side of the coin, the beach ... what a dissapointment, small, in between houses of the locals (with poor hygiene) and not beautiful like the ones you'll find in Aruba and Curacao.
If I ever return to Dominica, I will get to Waterfalls ONLY or STAY IN THE SHIP.

In St. Thomas I did the "St. John Beach and Snorkel Tour" and all I can say is: WOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!
They take you by boat to St. John and believe me the sightseeing from the boat are awesome. Once in St. John, they will take you to an US Forest Reserve in which they have a precious beach with an excellent snorkeling place (they even put signs under the water to help you identify the fishes that you are looking).
The beach area for those who doesn't snorkel is beautiful too. They have excellent facilities over there (showers, stores, you name it).
St. Thomas itself is good for shopping (and beautiful also!). So in this one, GET OUT OF THE SHIP, you wouldn't be dissapointed (like in Dominica).
