We had previously been to Vigo & therefore did not take a tour. We docked on a Sunday which meant it was quiet and most of the shops were closed. There was a shuttle provided from the ship to the city center. There was not much to see , other than the harbor area bordered by a park . There was another park with a decorative fountain & some statues a few blocks from here. We went to a Mass at a nearby church and that was an experience! After 2 hours of shopping in the souvenir shops near this church, we returned to the ship. We docked at 8 AM and "all aboard " was at 2:30.
We docked at 5 AM & were probably all off the ship by 9:30 AM. Those who purchased their flight from NCL were taken at 7:45 by coach, to Heathrow. There was little chance to see much of Dover , unless you were on your own or being picked up by friends/family. At least it wasn't raining and the countryside was fresh and green as we motored to the airport ( a 2 hr. drive).
