This was an ALL INCLUSIVE club and included an awesome menu of items to choose from and a wide selection of drinks. GREAT value for the price of admission. You must take a taxi from the port to the beach club ($16 USD each way)
I highly recommend the coconut shrimp and mango margarita. My wife had the garlic shrimp dish and loved it as well as a whole fried fish which she devoured. We certainly got our moneys worth at Mr. Sancho's Beach Club
The Barrier Reef was awesome however the tour seemed very disorganized at the reef and the group way to big for our guide, who incidentally was talking while most of our heads were in the rough water observing the reef and fish. The tender trip from the ship to the private Cay took about an hour by catamaran and was a smooth trip. The little Cay (Island) was very nice with shade huts, picnic tables, lounge chairs, volleyball net and some food and drinks for purchase. Snorkeling on the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world was awesome.
We took a private tour of the area with our guide for the day David, who was a native to Roatan so he knew where to take up to experience the maximum culture and flavor of the people. We enjoyed the tour which we arranged through Theris Dixon Tours. We enjoyed our time in Roatan.
We boarded our buses at the port for about an hour drive to our destination. Our guide was Daniel and he taught all of us a lot about the Mayan Civilization, history and culture. He answered questions and was apologetic when he didn't know and answer. We thoroughly enjoyed the excursion.
