Monterey is clean and nice. We went to the Aquarium and it is well worth spending much of your day. Nice walk from ship tender area to Cannery Row and Aquarium (about 30 mins).

So much to do in SF! It rained most of the time, but we still had a blast. On day one we went to Alcatraz. Order your tickets online ahead of time. On day two we rented bikes at Bay City Bike Rentals. Service was great. We had a flat on one bike, and they delivered a new bike to the Golden Gate in about 20 mins. I made a quick trip to Pier 39 to visit my friends the sea lions.

We hiked the Hermit Gulch Trail Loop, which was a 7.5 miles trek. Great views from the top! Not sure quite what else there is to do on the island except shop or use the beach if the weather is warm.

Ugh. Nothing here except pushy shop owners and street salespeople selling junk.
