Nassau

We had been to Nassau before and did not expect much. We were right. It is just shopping at a dirty crowded port since we were not there long enough to do anything else. Money does not trickle down at these ports. Never want to go back to Nassau!

OK

These ships make a fortune off these trips. Way to expensive for what you get!!! Wish I had the money back for excursions on St Thomas and ST Maarten!! I was stupid and regret it. St Thomas was ok. It is more crowded at Megan's Beach than it used to be. Downtown shopping was ok too. Crowded too! Is there a limit on how many ships they will let in port at one time? Maybe there should be. No more expensive excursions for us!! We will take a cab or something. You have to see the bay from high up because it is beautiful to see.

St. Maarten is pretty but the costs of excursions take the fun out of it. We took the French Beach Break because the similar one we used to take left at 7:30. The one we used to take stopped at a nice outdoor shopping area but nothing is open at 7:30. (DUH) Smart decision Carnival! Orient Beach is much more crowded than it use to be and not as nice in my opinion. (For that reason) Why is it that topless and naked people are so fat? Really! Put some freaking clothes on please! We don't really want to see your fat naked body. Glad it is not legal in the USA! Don't give me that getting back to nature crap! Quit making excuses and go on a diet! We went to this beach because it is the biggest and best of the 36 or so beaches. We thought about going to Maho and watching the planes but it is not a great beach. We really wish we had just went to the beach near the port and then went to town to shop. The shopping at the port is good but more expensive. Obviously, we are burnt out on excursions. You have to pay for those things when you get home and they don't care how you feel about them. It is about the buck!!
