We took a cab to Coki Beach, which cost us $9 pp each way, where we rented a couple of chairs for $5 apiece and a locker for $5. At noon, we were greeted by our guides for the waverunner/snorkel tour. We rode for aboue 25 minutes out to the snorkel sight, which was near a private island and offered views of nearby St. John island. We then took a nice 25-minute ride back to the beach.
Took a cab to the Hilton Hotel. About 10 minutes from the port. The beach was very nice but due to windy conditions the surf was up a little. We wound up using the pool. The tour also included lunch, which was very good. But we were a little disappointed with the rougher surf.
Met at the pier by the tour operator for the 25-30 minute ride to the zip lining site on the other side of the island. Tour driver offered nice explanations of the island. We rode 12 zip lines and it was fantastic. Even our 10 year old daughter wound up loving it. Our guides on the lines were fantastic. Highly recommend Tree Tops for zipping. Cost was $177 for three, far less than what the ship wants to charge.
Very nice port. Took a cab to Cockleshell Beach and the Carambol Beach Club. Cost us $30 for two chairs and an umbrella. Really nice beach. Walked about 5 minutes down the beach to get $2 beers, which were less than what the bar at the club was charging. Very picturesque island.
Booked a three-island snorkel tour through stmaartenexcursions.com. Wonderful 4-hour tour. Snorkeled with turtles and went to a lovely coral reef. Our guides Francois and Eon were terrific. Boat ride to the snorkel sites was a little rough, but fun. Tour ended on Pinel Island, which has a nice sandy beach. Highly recommend this tour. Tour began at Oyster Bay Beach Club.
