We had a wonderful tour guide that could remember everyone's first name on the 32-passenger bus. Our driver mixed very well with our guide. We saw some great sites and were able to get a better feel for island life. We loved Antigua.
We had a wonderful tour of the island -- both the French and Dutch sides. We loved the French side where we found a great Bistro to enjoy steamed mussels and French wine. We were able to take a few photos and shop a little before departing for the remainder of the island tour. It was an island that my husband and I found intriguing and would love to return to.
We loved this open-air transport tour up into the island mountains to the Cruzan shop for Banana Daiquiri's in the late morning. The shopping hut was more like a mall and vast with island trinkets and alcohol. There were other stops in the mountain areas where we were able to view the many bays and beaches the island had to offer. Just a very lovely island! The shopping in St. Thomas is a "jewelry-lovers paradise." Unbelieveable the many jewelers that were lined up one after another and all vying for our money and desires.
