They could skip this port. Very expensive and not really all that much to do in the short time you have. Would have rather gone to their private island, Coco Cay.

St. John Snorkel/Sail Rating: 5.0 out of 5+

Did the boat ride to St. John, the ride along the coast looking at beaches and then a trip to Trunk Bay. Could have skipped the boat ride to look at the beaches and just get the taxi to Trunk Bay. Great beach and snorkeling. After snorkeling, we came back to Cruz bay and went to Woodies, Kenny Chesney's hang-out. Fun place with good, cold beer and we had some very good shark bites.

Beach Break Rating: Not Rated

We went to Orient Beach. Beautiful beach, with plenty to do if you want to spend a bit more. We had beach chairs with $3 for an umbrella. The included food and one drink was okay. It is a topless beach, but very few were topless. The water was a bit rough they day we were there, but the water temp was great and plenty of sun. Nice relaxing day.
