Venice

We stayed overnight in Venice. It is a beautiful city, and taking a trip with the water taxi was so busy. Passengers from MSC were disembarking there and trailing the luggage on to the water taxis. It looked quite harrassing.
Wandering around Venice we found a shop selling the best ice cream ever
Sailing out of Venice must be on the "one of the top ten things to do before you die!)

We went into Dubrovnik on the shuttle bus,but the towm was so crowded there was not much pleasure in walking around. So we took the shuttle bus back after a couple of hours Relaxed on the Balcony

With the temp reaching 32 degrees. Some of the buildings looked a bit forlorn and in need of some TLC. We spotted a small train and took a trip on that. It was very good, and took us around the better parts of Corfu Town. I would have liked to take a trip out of the town and into the country

I love Taormina. We shared a taxi with two other guests. Had a lovely time strolling around the town. We visited the Roman theatre and as we are senior citizens we had free admission. That was a nice surprise. Met our taxi sharing friends for a trip back to the ship

Naples

We couldn't anchor in Sorrento, due to a high swell? so we docked in Naples. Very hot and a bit showery. Wandered very busy streets and found some interesting buildings. The trafic in Naples was extremely busy. We set out to find the Cathedral but after several coffees and sore feet we must have walked all around it without finding it. I think we should have taken a taxi.

Having been to Rome previously , we spent time in Civitaveccia instead.
It was market day. We saw some of the finest fruit and vegetables I have seen in ages. No supermarket shopping here. A pleasant town with a waterfront for easy strolling.

Florence (Livorno)

Florence is a favourite destination, so we had good information from the ship on how to go to Florence by train. Station very close to major sights.
Livorno also a lovely city

Monaco

Another favourite destination. Weather was a bit mixed, so we opted for a walk around the cliffs and visited the Museum and Aquarium with special priced tickets if one combined an entry into the Palace. We visited the two destinations and it was well worth it. We enjoyed our day there very much. We also visited Marseilles which was most interesting and also Palma Majorca, but there were no boxes for those details.
