Just took the bus into town and walked along the beach. Didn't partake this time, but you could get a 30 minute beachside massage for $10. Will probably do this when we repeat the cruise in November. The beach was "better" than I remember, along the lines of Galveston. Noticed lots of police in the area, especially cruising along the road beside the beach.
Took a taxi to Chankannab National Park. Noted that the taxi rate had gone up since last visit to $11. Park entrance with snorkeling gear / souvenir t-shirt / drink was $37/person. The park was unusually not crowded as Triumph was the only ship in port (which seemed odd for a Thursday). As such, the employees of the park were more aggressive selling things like guided kayak tours and massages. The park had also added some new things since our last visit - zip lines (not yet open) and a crocodile exhibit. Being Mexico, the zip line ran rather close to the crocodiles!
