Embarkation and disembarkation very efficient and well organised.

Nassau

Nice port with shops and main town easily accessible on foot from the ship. It was quite picturesque and the locals were very friendly. The only criticisms would be that we were not there for long enough and also the identification checking by port security was not sufficient for the volume of people as there were 3 ships in port. This resulted in long lines. All in all though we thought this was our favourite of the ports we visited.

This was again a very picturesque port with some lovely old buildings and a very Spanish feel to it. It was very easy to disembark from the ship and go on foot for a walk around San Juan. Again a very nice experience overall. The only criticism again perhaps the short time we spent there.

St. Thomas
Butterfly Farm Rating: 3.0 out of 5+

The Butterfly Farm was very interesting and only a 5-minute walk from the ship. A guide gave a talk on butterflies and we were able to walk round at our leisure. It was quite small though and it would be nice to have a few more species of butterflies to look at.

Grand Turk
Port Rating: 2.0 out of 5+

Grand Turk is a very small flat island, with a population only just exceeding that of the number of passengers on the ship. The island boasts a lovely white sand beach but not much else. We took a taxi to the main town which just consisted of a few market stalls, a couple of bars, a library, a small museum and a couple of shops. If you like the beach and paddling in the sea this is a great port. For others it is probably going to be a bit disappointing.
