Not much there. Best bet is a local bus (for $1) that takes you on about a 30 minute tour of the town. The driver is very knowledgeable and helpful. Catch the bus at the foot of the pier (in front of the restrooms).

Cute little town. Easy to book a bus $16 round-trip to the Mendenhal Glacier -- worthwhile. LOTS of stands selling tours as you disembark the ship.

Spend some time in the Red Dog Saloon -- kids are welcome.

Duck Tour Rating: 3.0 out of 5+

Duck Tour was decent price-performer (not a real WWII duck -- like in Boston -- but a Ford truck that had been converted). Easy to book your own duck tour once you get off the ship -- not sure if there is a savings. Provided good overview of the town area. BTW, two of the most important touristy things -- Lumberjack Show & Totem Pole park are easy walking distance from the ship.
