The four of us took a transit bus to the South Station where we purchased day passes for the MBTA. We visited Sam Adams Brewery, and of course sampled their wares. We then rode the subway to Quincy Market and enjoyed the street shows, and had lunch at Cheers. Enjoyed lunch and the walking around the market. Then took the subway back to the South Station and bus back to the ship.

We purchased a $5.00 hop on, hop off city bus pass. This was a spur of the moment purchase since we had nothing planned. Rode the bus up to one of the main streets and walked for about an hour window shopping and just enjoying the day. We seen a "duck" so we decided why not, and took another bus down to the harbor. Once we arrived, we seen a company offering harbor tours for less than what the "duck" would have cost. We decided to do that instead. (I will write my review in Trip Advisor). We went past several light houses and learned of the history of the area. It was money well spent. After we finished the tour, we visited a couple of the little shops as we walked towards the ship. We did visit "Two Fat Cats" to have a Whoopie Pie. We were not impressed.

We booked the Deluxe island tour in a limo with a dinner. The Limo was designed for 10 people, it would have been uncomfortable with 10, we had 8 and was pretty cozy.

We did a quick town tour, and the loop around Acadia National Park, and then up to Cadillac Mountain then back into town for lunch.

The tour guide/driver was very knowledgeable of the town and area and answered all of our questions.

Lunch was okay.

After reading the tours offered by RCI and looking at the tide tables, we decided to book a cab tour. We read reviews on Trip Advisor and hired a specific company.
The driver was very proud of his town, and knew it's history well. The ship came in a little later than originally planned so part of the tour had to be dropped, but it was still a very full tour.

We took another taxi tour we read about in Trip Advisor. The trip started with a tour of town, then to Peggy's Cove, we stopped at other locations, then went to the cemetery where Titanic victims were buried. We then visited a few more locations in town and then headed back to the ship.
