We simply got off and did our own thing here. A very easy port to navigate and what a beauty it was - extremely pretty and quaint and despite having to go through the centre of most of the pavement restaurants etc we were not hassled once! The beach here is beautiful (be warned the sea drops aware dramatically in places so hold little ones hands tight!) and only a ten min walk from the ship (get off the ship go through the port doors and turn left - this is Ajaccio towns/cafes etc) along with a little wally train that for a few euros will take you around the town. Napoleons house is a must see (there is an entrance fee, approx 30 euros for a family of four I think) It took us a while to find so ask as soon as you get through the port as the map is pants!
