Very English feel to the island, Very clean in appearance and a quaint little town. You can spend pounds sterling there.

Nice city we were issued a map of the area which was quite difficult to navigate. Time was limited so did not see much at all.

This was by far the best port we attended. As soon as you come out of the port you have the option to take an open top bus tour, it cost 15 euros and kids were free. it provided unlimited hop on and hop offs and you could choose from modern or old town tour.
The only down side was that the bus does not do a full circuit back to the port so you have to make sure you know which bus does eventually get you back to port.
Lisbon was brilliant in its history and appearance this is definitely a place we will explore in the future.

Unfortunately we attended on a Sunday all the shops were closed so we had very little to do. However on return to the ship via the shuttle bus we noticed a nice little beach to the left s you come out of the port. Had we seen this we would have spent more time on this beach instead of going in to the city

Lots of shops in the centre to explore and on the west side of the city is a beach however it is very pebbly with very little sand at high tide. there is a very good skate park if you are in to that. there is also an area for beach volley ball and soccer with the only sand in the area.
