Daughter did the dog sledding and found the puppies absolutely adorable.
We took the "big blue bus" based on other reviews and I'll warn you now - they ask for CASH up front for both up and return trips - and their buses DO NOT LEAVE at the expected times. We ended up running for the bus 10 minutes before it was scheduled to leave and the driver did not stop so we had to wait another 30 minutes for the next bus. As it was a rainy day, that was the one downside to our entire cruise.
Kids all did the rock climbing, rappelling, and zip-line excursion. The cruise line handled everything wonderfully. They were able to do the fun excursion and then meet up for us for some quick shopping.
Uncle and Aunt signed up for the rock climbing/rappelling/zip line just to do the zip line. Once there the cruise excursion folks gladly traded their excursion in so they could do a fun 5 zip-line (but not advertized on the site) excursion for the same price! A fantastic time was had - and all of us relished in the tale that night for dinner.
In Victoria - try to arrange to get off the ship with the crowds. We waited 3 hours for get off and ended up paying $10 each for a ride into town - when a cab (for 4) was $10. Oh and be sure to eat before you head into town - Canada is quite pricy for lunch, even at the pubs.
