Walt Disney World Rating: 3.0 out of 5+

The trip to Disney was fun, as usual. We were originally going to go to the Disney water parks, but when we won bingo, we spent the money on the excursion to Magic Kingdom. It was our first trip to Disney in the summer even though we've gone to Disney several times before. The only problem was that since it was Summer, it was extremely hot and crowded. Lines were long and we had to be at the ship by 5:30pm, so we didn't get to do as much as we'd liked to.

Atlantis Rating: 4.0 out of 5+

We decided on our day at Nassau, we'd go to Atlantis as we had never been there before. It was fun for the whole family, as there was a lot to do. As a way to save money, since we are a family of four, we booked the Comfort Suites. When you did this, it came with Atlantis passes and was much cheaper than booking through the cruise or Atlantis itself and it's a short walk over to Atlantis. We started off with the aquarium inside and saw a lot of cool tropical fish. Once we got outside, though, it was hot like the day before and very crowded. We got a locker, put our things away, and went to what we thought was the Lazy River, but was actually the Rapids. It was quite fun, we went around three times, but very dangerous. They did not take the empty floats out of the water so when people came through, they'd get hit with floats. Also, they did not enforce any rules in the rapids. There was a group of people using up to five floats at a time and banging into people, pushing them into the walls and making them get hurt. Since it was so crowded, the only slides we went on were the ones that were part of the rapids. Other than that, we spent the rest of the day at the beach, which was beautiful and not really crowded, until we had to go back to the ship that night.

Snorkeling Rating: 3.0 out of 5+

Ok, Freeport. Well, it was Freeport. There wasn't much to do there so we went snorkeling. It was our first time and it was quite cool. Our tour guides were late, though, which didn't help since the weather was crummy. Once they did come, we drove to the dock, got our gear, and took the boat out to the reef. They taught us all about what we would see and how to use our gear which was great. The ride out there was terrible and the water was choppy and it was very windy, but we all made it. Once at the reef, we all got into the water and started. Since the water was so choppy, we didn't get to see as much as we wanted and we didn't stay in the water very long. Once back on the boat, they opened the water slide which a few people went on. But by the time the last person went down, it started teeming and the wind was insane. The ride back was dreadful but it stopped raining by the time we got back to the dock. We walked around the straw market outside our ship until it was time to go back. Also, I got a pina colada from Senor Frogs before leaving. Throughout the trip I had done a little experiment to see who had the best pina colada, the cruise, Nassau, or Freeport, and Freeport wins by a longshot! It was so good and only $5 for a virgin, not bad. When we got on line to get back on the ship, it started pouring again and it took forever to get back in. Well, I guess we could say it was an experience.
