Halifax has a fabulous harbor boardwalk. After walking its length we walked up to the Old Town Clock and then the Halifax Citadel. We visited the Public Gardens which were very pretty and not too big. We discovered the Nova Scotia Lieutenant Governor's home which had a changing of the guards and tours in the summer. We visited Pier 21, Canada's Immigration Museum. We were underwhelmed with the main Museum but were thrilled with the genealogical research section where the staff are happy to look up immigration records for you. They were fast and very efficient. We did a lot of walking through this small pretty city. Very nice people, good food and very picturesque.
