Great walking port with warm, welcoming friendly people and something for everybody. Lots of history, Canadian flavor, good music, shopping, eateries, waterfront views, boating, scenery. This is a repeat port for me, and I visited with a few good friends in the waterfront area and went jogging along the boardwalk fronting the harbor. I never get tired of visiting Halifax.

Boston is something special to all visitors, and is another historic waterfront port - impossible to see it all in a day, but with a good tour, highlights are possible. I've visited there many times and still haven't seen it all. The day I visited, it was too hot to even leave the ship, plus dealing with July 4th holiday traffic and added security.
