We walked into the city and was overwhelmed with the tourist from other cruise ships, especially going up to the top of the walled old town. What made our trip was eating at the Olde Hansa Restaurant. It was the real Medieval Times. The waitresses were wearing medieval dresses, the inside was light with candles and everything was made of old wood, the upstairs had the classic trench banquet tables, the food and honey bear were served out of pottery dishes, and the bathrooms were almost like an outhouse with a pitcher you tipped over for washing your hands. The most impressive thing was that the building was built in the 14th century!
We took a 3 hour bus tour that ended at the airport. I highly recommend doing this since this is the best way to see as much as you can in this city. We later came back into the city via the subway and at at the Hard Rock Cafe and toured Tivoli Gardens.
