Very tranquil. We took the kayak tour and had a blast. The operators were able to point out the sting rays swimming around. They also were able to find and show us star fish, conch, and two varieties of sea cucumber. A plus to this tour was being shown a private unspoiled beach where we got a swimming break. This was a fun tour.

This is a beach day place. NCL has been molding the island into a nicer place than it was a few years ago. The island has some interesting history, so read up on it. There is a lot to do on the island. Most cost some money. They offer snorkeling equipment to explore the waters with. They put together area that contain hidden treasures and wrecks.

Kayaking and jet skiing are also options.

NCL provides a nice selection of food on the island. a Volley ball game is always going. Want to shop? There is a small market area.

Shade.......very hard to find. For those that want a bit of Lux...rent out a cabana. For those that just want shade, rent a shell. want a shell with a view, get their early. Whey you rent a shell you are guaranteed a shell, not a view.

Above all, don't forget your sunscreen!!!

We were going to do the city tour, but, we learned the sites that the tour takes us to were all within walking distance. I checked out a "frommers guide" and started my research. In one guide book they had a complete walking tour laid out. So, that is what we did. Walking around old town was fantastic. We got a feel for the city and got our exercise in. It was nice to see the historical sites and the brightly painted buildings that make up old town.

We also stopped on Bay street for some shopping. After all, that is a must in Nassau right?
