We docked away from the other cruise ships (Carnival and Disney) so we were much closer to Jetty Park and therefore was able to walk to it. Maybe a 10 min. walk. The other reviews said it was inadvisable to walk to Jetty Park but if the boat docks near Ron Jon, you can easily walk it. I was prepared to take a taxi, but no need. We spent a couple of hours on the beach which was crowded but still we found a spot for us.

Beautiful beach, clear blue water, BBQ lunch...need I say more? We walked a little further away from the dock, away from the crowds. Unfortunately with pollution, there isn't much coral to see when you snorkel. Not a whole lot of colourful fish either. We brought our own snorkel gear so saved money that way. Lunch was decent enough. Lots of chairs and hammocks around the island.

This was our 2nd time in Nassau and I must say there really isn't much to see in town if you don't do the expensive excursions. We walked around a little bit and made our way to the Queen's Steps and at the top there is a fort we saw from the outside. Then shopped.
