Since we visited Peggy's Cove on our last trip, this time we stayed in town and walked around. We visited the Citadel for a tour, then walked back to the ship taking the boardwalk area. We almost went to Maritime Museum of the Atlantic but decided not to. Will definitely go there next time. I would recommend the Peggy's Cove / Titanic Cemetary tour though.
Weird but the drop down box is not giving me an option of Sydney , Nova Scotia, lol. So ignore the Australia part and think Canada / New England. We rented a car and drove to Louisberg and Glace Bay. Scenic and very nice. I wish our port time had been longer to venture further north on the Cabot Trail which I hear is amazing for scenery.
Okay these drop down boxes really need work, because Charlottetown PEI isn't an option either, so I just chose Halifax again! Anyway PEI was postcard perfect...calm and picturesque. We rented a car here too and did about a 3 hour drive. Easy to follow and lots of good photo ops.
Yay, Quebec City is on the list of options! Anyway, the old town of Quebec City is beautiful, feels like Europe in many places. Thank goodness for the Funicular because walking up and down those steep hills is too much for me. How do they do it in the winter?? Anyway, loved Quebec City. 100% charm.
