I had been to Ocho Rios before and done the main tourist attractions. We opted to walk off and visit the shops near the pier. This area was not well developed, choices were limited, and hawkers and taxi drivers were relentless.
The tour of the cave was interesting, but we ran into a couple of busloads, so it was crowded and hot. There are multiple steps to enter and explore the cave. Not a big issue for us, but was troublesome for many of the guests.
The port area is nice and the architecture is beautiful.
One of our favorites. We like the atmosphere. It is relaxed and people are not aggressive. We explored the main street and the waterfront on foot, visited a few shops and enjoyed the spectacular beach views and a cold beer before returning to the ship.
