I enjoyed ORient beach as I am a sun worshipper and this is perfect. It's a 20 minute ride and cost 6 bucks a person. There is an expansive beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas for rent, a bar and restaurant. There's also a small kiddie playground which my daughter enjoyed. The waves are rough, so not the best for little ones to swim.

We went to Sapphire beach, which was quiet at first, set in a calm bay, which was great for the little one to swim. Snorkelling was just ok, not great. There is plenty of shade and a small store for drinks, a couple of places to get a snack. It got crowded, so get there early for a good spot.

Hectic port to disembark from, but we've been here a few times, so we just walked out and found a cab. We went to cabbage beach, which is on paradise island. If you take a can its 6 bucks a person. If you take the water taxi it's less, but the walk to the beach is about 15 minutes and in the heat with kids it can be tough. The beach is wide with great sand, but it was a little dirty, had lots of vendors trying to get your attention when you got there. The water is rough so not the best for little ones. This beach abuts Atlantis, which we had been to before. We walked down to Atlantis and the security guy let us walk in to the resort which is beautiful and worth going to if you've never been before.

My husband got a $20 all you can drink coconut for the day at the beach. There are a lot of these vendors, but we went to the ladies with the 3 stripes on their coconuts and their drinks were much stronger than the ones our friend went to. If you want a good buzz go to them. Don't let the vendors put your lounge chairs too close to the water. We watched a lot of people running with their wet towels and clothes as the tide came in on top of them. Stay above the seaweed line.
