Half Moon Cay
Port Rating: 5+ out of 5+
We both loved Half Moon Cay! Loads of fun, beautiful beach, crystal clear water, and several excursions to choose from. HAL provides lunch for you on the island. It's a BBQ style lunch with burger, dogs, potato salad, fries, fresh fruit, etc. They put on one heck of a spread! One word of advice, don't waste your money ($15) on a clam shell. No one checks to see if you have a reservation and they had more than they knew what to do with. We swam, snorkeled, and ate! They have a few hammocks at the far end of the beach, so if you want one, you better get there quick! This port is served by tenders, no dock, and could be canceled if the weather is bad.

Montego Bay
Port Rating: Not Rated
From our view on the ship, the port was disgusting, dirty, and dangerous. We pulled up along the shipping container dock and passengers had to file through an old warehouse to get to the shuttle buses that took them into Montego Bay. At either end of the dock were stacked big steel shipping containers to keep guests from wandering out into the yard and getting run over by a truck. We chose to stay onboard and get a couples message and enjoy the ship without the crowds. In the ships daily newsletter, the Explorer, there was an important notice about the availability of drugs in Jamaica. They warn of the consequences of illegal drug purchases and the ramifications of getting caught with drugs in Jamaica. Most of our fellow guests said that they had a great time on their excursions, while others felt that they had just wasted their money.

Cozumel
Beach Break Rating: 5+ out of 5+
We arrived by beaching the catamaran! They lower the stairs, you walk through 2-3 feet of water, and up onto the beach. The place is gorgeous! Beautiful sand, crystal clear water, and free beer and margaritas. They have loads of loungers on the beach, hammocks, and canopy beds - Yes, you heard me right, beds on the beach. No hanky-panky! They offer burgers and dogs for a price. You can play with paddle boards, a huge water slide, trampoline, and beach toys. You can also rent jet skis or go parasailing. We had a great time and won't soon forget this excursion.

Nice clean boat. The company that put this whole excursion together, Fury Catamarans, did a great job. They were very safety oriented and would not allow any drinking until everyone had finished snorkeling. After that, party on!!!!!!!! Free beer and margaritas! After everyone was back on the cat, we sailed 10 miles south to their private beach.

Snorkeling Rating: 5.0 out of 5+
The reason it gets a 5 and not a 5+ is because it wasn't long enough! Personally, I could have snorkeled for hours on end. This was 45 minutes and I extended it a few minutes by being the last person back onboard. Lots of colorful fish, beautiful coral, and crystal clear water! The crew were very safety oriented and they provide all your equipment. We brought our own snorkeling gear. I have a hard time putting my mouth on a used snorkel.
