Beijing
Port Rating: 3.0 out of 5+
Average. Long way from civilization or Beijing.

Bangkok (Laem Chabang)
Port Rating: 3.0 out of 5+
Average. Lots of pricey items for sale.

Took about 2 hours to reach Bangkok I think.

Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)
Port Rating: 3.0 out of 5+
Average. Very scruffy around the terminal and the first half mile was very bumpy (bit like Bontoc to Sagada). Took about 2 hours to reach the city.

Excellent coach guide/translator.

Watch out for 'helpful' con merchants and the taxis must be as dubious as anywhere!

Hong Kong
Port Rating: 3.0 out of 5+
Average. Once again around a 2 hour trip to the city, or rather Kowloon I believe.

Only worth visiting to reach superb Shenzhen!

Singapore
Port Rating: 3.0 out of 5+
Average. The airport on the way home was worth the visit but the city itself is vastly overrated and overpriced!
