A lovely little city. People were helpful but there appeared to be a lack of interest by the public compared with the excellent attention and assistance provided by Burnie volunteers at our previous port.
We hired a car and self drove around the area. We visited Mount Wellington (not for the faint hearted if nervous about heights - she's a whopper), the historical town of Richmond, and, of course, the Cadbury chocolate factory. We tried to visit MONA but ran out of time.
Looking forward to visiting again and having more time to investigate it's history.
