We love Sapphire Beach at St Thomas. We have been several times and have enjoyed swimming and snorkeling in the placid waters. However, due to the storm that was working it's way out of the area, there was a bad rip tide that tossed us around a bit. We heard this about Megan's Bay as well. This was something no one had any control over. We will continue to go to Sapphire Beach whenever we are on the island!1

We love to shop in St Maarten...but on this trip we found the locals to be a little more aggressive than usual. This made our visit somewhat shorter allowing us to spend more time on board.
