we went by minibus which we picked up outside the port 7 went on a tour of the rainforest.At the end was a waterfall and a pool where you could have a swim.Apparently it was icy cold.
lovely island again part of the Dutch group.One of the features is a huge bridge manufactured in Holland and high enough for large cruise ships to pass under.
the island is split in two,the French side is in the north & the Dutch side is in the south.Philipsburg where the ship docks is on the Dutch side.Lots of lovely shops bars & restaurants.
We did an island tour with a taxi from outside the port.It is very hilly but you get some marvellous views from various points.A t the top of the island is an active volcano which last erupted 50 years ago.At wAllilabou bay you can see where Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed
