We have been to Cozumel so many times. This cruise was for relaxing and we did not exit the ship. I will say that the view from the ship was awesome and the color of the water was (as always) surreal.
We took a tender to shore and just walked around and shopped. Stopped at the Swarovski Store to buy a new piece to add to our collection. Tax free shopping is always more fun.
BUYER BEWARE! We found a lot of irregular shirts they were trying to pass off as perfect in several shops at $20.00 dollars or more. The Margaritaville at this port is unbelievable. We picked out two t-shirts...T-SHIRTS...that they tried to get us to pay $74.95 for. They added on over $20.00 in so called taxes to our purchase. We snatched our credit card out of the clerks hand and told him #ell no! We have been to two other ports in Jamaica and NEVER had this happen. The on board shopping "expert" was clueless. Montego Bay Margaritaville has always been fair, so I really don't understand how the one at Falmouth can get away with trying to rip people off.
