Drove a scoot coupe around the island for about 30 minutes. Which was fun and a little scary with the speed and curves. Too fast to really enjoy the scenery. The "short photo stop at Lame Shores, where your guide will introduce you to many of the marine animals that swim in the warm Atlantic waters" - is a stop at a run down little beach where we got to hold a sea urchin. Meh.
Then we drove to Orient beach where we got to hang out for about 90 minutes. Had I know it was Orient beach I would have skipped it. Beautiful beach, waaaayyyy too crowded. So - okay excursion, no need to repeat it.
Power snorkeling. Highly recommend. Very safe and easy to do. Beautiful waters, clear and lots of fish. Got to swim with a barracuda. Snorkled out over the 7,000 foot drop off which was interesting as well. Would do again and again.
