Boat ride to and from island was about 40 minutes. Island tour was nice and weather was good. Due to 3 Cruise ships being in port at the same time, many tours converged at one point to come back on multiple providers. There was some confusion as some local operators called out the wrong ships which took some sorting out on the pier.
Water tour around the Dutch Side and bus tour to both sides of the Island. We liked the Dutch side better. Marigot was a ok but we would not return if back on the island. Shopping Area at the port was nice with good facilities
We had a great tour from this port. I was glad we booked it through the Cruise line here because of the conditions in and around the port. This was least economically developed port on the itinerary. Shopping was plentiful close to the port.
Good shopping at the port. Island is lush, roads are narrow and steep. Nutmeg facility and plantation was very informative. Tour Guide and bus driver did a wonderful job, especially getting us up to the waterfall.
Booked right in the terminal area. Went all over the Island in a very flexible and enjoyable pace. Stopped many times to highlight plants and picture opportunities. Beaches were white sand, resorts were nice, California Lighthouse is not functional but Govt of Aruba is going to renovate it. Shopping right outside the port is fantastic. Very safe and secure.
Booked tour right at the pier. Nice flexible pace, tour operator had no problem going here and there to take pictures and experience the island. Went through historic district, floating market, distillery and gave option to customers to be let off downtown by the swing bridge w/15 min walk back to ship or return to ship. Colors and sights are fantastic, must walk the swing bridge, shopping is good everywhere and many high end shops are avail. Newer area is by the Mega Pier. Safe and Secure port.
