We took a taxi to Paradise beach, which I found on Tripadvisor. This was a good choice for a family on a budget because it is much cheaper than a excursion through the cruise line. There are plenty of taxis at the cruise port just make sure you confirm the price ahead of time. At Paradise Beach there is a $2 a chair charge and $10 min food and drink purchase per person. Food and drinks are very fairly priced here and safe. Please check of Tripadvisor for a more in depth review. We had a great time and didn't spend much money. The area is beautiful and clean. Taxi was only $15 each way.
This was an outstanding day. The Island is large and beautiful. There are many excursions to choose from. These very a little pricey but you can always just rent bikes and explore. We had a wonderful beach day here and I wish I could just come here with out having to take a cruise.
