Picked up and taken a few minutes to the catamaran. Excellent crew. Complementary snorkelling gear, lifejacket and drinks. Free instruction on snorkelling if you want it. A member of the crew in the water with you all the time and helped you if you had any problems. Nice scenic ride down the coastline.
Volcano and Pitons tour. We were really shocked at the poverty and the amount of people trying to scrap a living by trying to sell you anything they could. A shame the wealth of the big tourist beach resorts doesn't spill over to them a bit more. The volcano was interesting - a lot of steps for anyone with mobility issues. The pitons looked lovely. They stopped at a gardens which was very pretty and a cafe for a complimentary drink.
Tour with visits to Shirley Heights and Nelsons Dockyard. The views were amazing and you get plenty of opportunity to take photographs. A complimentary drink at the dockyard and some free time to wander on your own.
Should have been a tour with a visit to semi submersible submarine to view coral and fish but this part was cancelled due to high winds. The tour was ok - you see the Dutch side and the French with an hour in the French capital Marigot.
We had a trip called "Island tour and Sapphire beach". We travelled about 1/2 hr and then arrived at an idyllic beach with loungers, snorkelling equipment and a drink included. Plenty of shade under the trees. Beautiful beach - cold sea!!
