Love Blue Lagoon Island. The beach is calm and sheltered and safe. Perfect for children. The lunch buffet is good. My only complaint is that there seems to be inconsistent pricing through different cruise lines on the same excursion. We did the Blue lagoon island beach day on RCL in December and my 2-year-old was free of charge (same beach, same ferry, etc.). But on Disney Cruise LIne, we had to pay $55 for him to participate.
Fabulous beachy island day! The best part of the entire cruise. The water was warm and clean, beach wasn't too crowded, lots of activities for families, including splash park and kids club on the island, good food, great drinks, fun water slides for children ages 4 and up. Made the cruise!
