Took water taxi to Water Island.Spent day at the beach swimming/snorkeling.Purchased beer and pop that were allowed back on board after discovering this when we asked the front desk staff though Princess did not advertise this.With beer on board $5.95-$6.95 per 12 oz bottle + 15% gratuity, we felt forced to drink mostly off ship until we found this out.
Took cab to Great Anse beach, $10 pp w/ 4 people sharing.Better to wait until 8:30 for $4 pp water taxi that we did take back to port.Bought spices here for gifts.
This island is main reason I chose this cruise. We spent the day at Klein Bonaire for incredible snorkeling.Water taxi $20 pp rnd trip. Then back to port for drinks and shopping.
Our least favorite island of all cruises.Still upset by Natalie Holloway episode. Beaches seem dirty w/ so-so snorkeling. Took local bus (cheapest transportation) to beach area past resorts. Decent shopping at port.
