Buenos Aires airport was a very unpleasant introduction to the city. A 2 hour wait in line at immigration after an all night flight is a real turnoff. We stayed at the Hilton in Puerto Madryn, the newest part of the city -also considered safest. It is a very nice attractive hotel. I was disappointed in the city- lots of graffiti with a poorly kept -has seen better days look. Central square of city seemed rundown and scruffy. One of the most popular sites seems to be the cemetery where Eva Peron was buried. Our tour guide cautioned us to never take a train in Argentina because they are dirty and dangerous-not too attractive.
