Loved the Donkey Sanctuary! Took private taxi there, and the driver drove us all around. Admission $7 each including the driver, and final bill from driver was $45. Excellent choice!
Took private taxi to Eagle Beach. Beach is huge! Very clean white sand and there are facilities there, but spread out so far that I could not consider walking to the restaurant or the rest rooms. I walk with a cane, and have to sit down frequently.
Walking back from where the taxi had to drop us to the ship was quite far, but there were benches to sit on.
Lots to do in Curacao! Took taxi to downtown - a longish drive over the high arched bridge. When we got to downtown, we could see our ship across the Pontoon bridge. Very picturesque town! Walked slowly across the bridge and into the Rif Fort. A lovely restored old fort with shops, bars, etc. A fairly easy walk back to ship - there were benches all along the way.
A sunset cruise set up by a Roll Call member was highlight of Curacao for us.
