We walked the streets and toured the main area on our own. We decided to take a horse drawn carriage ride through this historic city which was well worth it.
If you are ever stranded anywhere Halifax is the place to be. We spent most of the time in the Hospital but did make it to Peggys Cove for a few Hours. The people in Halifax by far are the Friendlyest and most accomadating you will ever meet. From the time we hit the dock until the time mom died we encountered the most helpful and caring people. We cannot say enough good about everyone we had contact with in Halifax.
