The beaches in Aruba were nice, although there was a lot of construction going on when we were there. The downtown had lots of chain restaurants and stores-nothing special. The weather was beautiful. We took an excursion where we took a short tour to the lighthouse (nothing special) and then went to the beach (nice beach, but loud construction next door).

Pretty good set up. We rented a covering to be able to stay out of the sun. The sun is pretty intense here. I enjoyed the visit.
