We had been to Princess Cay before (other private island) and felt that as a POC was just OK. This place was GORGEOUS. We booked an early snorkel excursion by boat to a 3 reef offshore site. The fish were plentiful but the time in the water was a bit short...45 minutes. The staff on the boat was not overly friendly, just OK. Had lunch at the island BBQ, food was good. We then went to the beach for offshore snorkeling. After that we just walked the beach for about half a mile. The sand on both the beach and in the water is white and walking in baby powder. Lots of beach chairs, a noisy bar, and some beautiful cabanas on the beach. Everything you'd need for a perfect day in paradise. We loved this place!

Short ride up the hill to the lookout. The view is nice, but it is about the same as going to Blackbeard's castle. Blackbeard's is a cheaper cab ride and there is much more to see at the top. Still, a good view and opportunity for good photos. St Thomas is very beautiful.

Took a cab to Secret Harbour. The snorkeling here was WORLD CLASS. 1000's of fish and many varieties we have not seen elsewhere. The beach was gorgeous, secluded, fairly quiet, with beach chairs, shade from trees in spots, a nice restaurant, and a full dive shop. We easily could've stayed all day, but had to leave to do our other excursion.

Carnival's website wasn't working to book the zipline tour we wanted. Boy was I glad it was...called Ecotours directly before we left and booked directly through them. They gave us a custom tour tailored to what we wanted to experience there. We got much more than the Carnival tour...ATV, repelling, cave tours, 5 ziplines...all for the same price as the basic Carnival tour price. The staff was excellent and made sure we were safe and had a great time. We took a free trolley after our excursion to El Morro Fortress. $3 p/person to get into the fort. Great views and lots of cool information. Had lunch at Punto de Vista cafe two blocks from the cruise dock. Good food but bad service.

This island's beach is one of the most beautiful we've seen. Pristine sand, clear water, 3rd largest reef system in the world. We took a power snorkel tour in the afternoon. The scooters were fun and the guides pointed out a few of the more exotic sea creatures. Just over an hour in the water. The pool area by the cruise ship was very nice, but way too crowded. The beach was not as crowded and had beach chairs, shade, and a few bars/restaurants. There are beach areas on both sides of the pier. The main/popular one is to the left when you get off the ship. The beach to the right is less crowded and looks like it has better snorkeling.
