Not much offered here and we were incessantly bothered by locals once we steeped outside the port enclosure. I felt bad for the people. There was a young boy, maybe 13 years old. He was trying tot raise money for his school books, so he said. He kept lol owing us around, trying to help us to the beach. We hopped in a taxi and gave him $5 for "helping". I was happy to give him a tip, but I would have rather not taken the taxi to the beach, and just returned to the ship for lunch.
We wanted to do a sightseeing tour that included the ruins and beach. The one we booked through the ship was cancelled, and we could only book snorkeling tours once ashore. We rented a car but it was very expensive and we never made it to the beach. Ruins were $8 per person for entrance.
