One of the most beautiful cities in Latin America. Compact and easily walkable historic center about 10-15 minutes by taxi from the cruise port. Did not feel any need for an excursion - just get a map and wander through the center. Secret gem for lunch is Restaurant Vera in the Tchurassi Hotel - hidden away in lovely boutique hotel owned by Colombia's leading fashion designer. Rather expensive Italian food, but a good respite from cruise food.
